Osprey Hornet 32-Litre Backpack Specifications

An ultra-lightweight pack stripped to the essentials, the Osprey Hornet 32-liter backpack is ideal for light hiking and as a summit pack. The hydration-compatible Hornet is comfortable on the trail, with a ventilated and supportive Bio-Stretch harness and a spacer mesh ventilated back panel with a removable foam pad. The pack also stores quite a bit of gear despite its stripped-down structure, with a large main compartment, a front stretch mesh pocket, side mesh pockets, and a removable zippered top pocket with an underlid mesh map pocket. And to help you carry your load more efficiently, the pack includes several compression bindings, including an adjustable overskirt compression strap, ultralight 7mm webbing side compression, and inside-out compression straps in the side pockets.

Additional features include a panel loader, cord tie-off points, an adjustable sternum strap with an etro slider, and a Bio-Stretch hip belt with zippered pockets and an ErgoPull closure. The Hornet, which is also available in 24- and 46-liter capacities, weighs 1 pound 4 ounces.

About Osprey
Things at Osprey move full circle, starting with the people, then the product, and then back to the people for the full lifetime of the product. Headquartered in Cortez, Colorado, in the southwest part of the state, the company is nestled at the corner of the rugged San Juan Mountains and on the edge of vast sandstone canyon country. This landscape provides the Osprey staff with constant inspiration and a superb testing ground for the company's packs. The remainder of the company--including Osprey founder and head designer Mike Pfotenhauer--resides in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In HCM City, surrounded by heat, endless bustle, and vibrant energy, Osprey designs and builds its packs to exacting standards. Living in HCM City provides many benefits, including the ability to create face-to-face relationships with the factories that build its packs, ensure fair labor standards, and soak up the design inspiration of a cosmopolitan city.
