Osprey Farpoint 55 Travel Backpack Specifications

Looking for comfort and convenience in a value-priced backpack? Enter the Osprey Farpoint 55 travel backpack, which offers all of the essential features for adventure travel without breaking the bank. The lightweight Farpoint 55 boasts a capacity of 3,400 cubic inches (55 liters)--enough for your clothes, some camping gear, and a host of other items for your short- to mid-length trip. The pack is also notably comfortable whether you're trekking through Peru or touring the major Italian cities. The pack's fixed unisex harness includes a spacer back panel with a light wire suspension system, along with an ErgoPull hipbelt closure. And should you want to check the pack at the airport or carry it as a suitcase, you can zip up the bag's suspension system and store it within a panel slot.

The Farpoint 55 also offers several extra straps for carrying gear, including removable sleeping pad straps, dual ice axe loops, and multiple gear attachment points. Other features include a StraightJacket compression system, top and side carrying straps, a panel-zip main compartment with lockable pulls, a zip-and-clip removable daypack, a zippered mesh pocket on the internal front panel, and an adjustable sternum strap with a rescue whistle. Available in S/M and M/L unisex sizes, the Farpoint 55 weighs 2 pounds.
