Osprey Flare Backpack Specifications

Blending a variety of useful features with a stylish design, the Osprey Flare daypack is an ideal choice for your active urban or trail adventures. The Flare offers 1,450 cubic inches of storage, with several specially designed pockets and sleeves for your daily gear, including an elastic laptop sleeve with a padded base (holds laptops up to 15.4 inches), an MP3 pocket, a front stash pocket with a mini organizer, and a document sleeve. The pack also stays comfortable as the day progresses thanks to the sewn-in mesh-over-EVA foam harness (with load lifters) and the removable 20mm waist belt. And should you need to quickly stow items for later retrieval, the pack includes two side stretch mesh pockets and a front stretch mesh shove-it pocket.

Other details include a sternum strap with a whistle buckle, a spacer mesh back panel, an internal mesh pocket, a panel loader, a single ice axe loop, and a padded carrying handle. The Flare weighs 1 pound 11 ounces without gear.

About Osprey
Things at Osprey move full circle, starting with the people, then the product, and then back to the people for the full lifetime of the product. Headquartered in Cortez, Colorado, in the southwest part of the state, the company is nestled at the corner of the rugged San Juan Mountains and on the edge of vast sandstone canyon country. This landscape provides the Osprey staff with constant inspiration and a superb testing ground for the company's packs. The remainder of the company--including Osprey founder and head designer Mike Pfotenhauer--resides in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In HCM City, surrounded by heat, endless bustle, and vibrant energy, Osprey designs and builds its packs to exacting standards. Living in HCM City provides many benefits, including the ability to create face-to-face relationships with the factories that build its packs, ensure fair labor standards, and soak up the design inspiration of a cosmopolitan city.
